The Transaction in Selfie began as an invitation for people from all over the world to become heroes of Transaction Art, with just one condition - to cover their faces to show their uniqueness. For 4 years, people from all corners of the earth have sent me photos with covered faces, which have amazed me with their creativity. In 2020, during the lockdown and Covid-19, the whole world wore masks and the world of Transaction Art became a reality. In 2023, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict once again showed another side of the world of Transaction Art. It brought us back to its very first idea: «We are children of war. War is money, money has no face. It’s as simple as the Transaction, we are the children of the Transaction, we are the children with hidden faces.» - $M
